In this session, all three guided meditations are meant to give the practitioner a new perspective about the power of the mind and imagination. Changing the way that we look at things and being mindful of our surroundings, as well as our thoughts and emotions, is key to living a more fulfilling life and having a positive impact on the world around us. These meditations give the practitioner tools to employ to accomplish that and more. Although beginners may enjoy this, some prior experience would be helpful. All sessions will emphasize Humanist ideals and values and will give the practitioner multiple perspectives on the meditation experience. The goal is to teach the practitioner a better way to live, both for themselves and the world around them.All studio sessions will have ample comfortable chairs to sit on! We have only a few spare cushions and pads for those wanting to sit on the floor so if you have your own, feel free to bring them!
